ERNIE AND ERNESTINA: Searching
Book Two, Chapter 156: Eckhart Tolle Also Says . . .
Eckhart Tolle also says:
Awareness is the greatest agent for change.
The most rigid structures, the most impervious to change, will collapse first.
If you get the inside right, the outside will fall into place. Primary reality is within; secondary reality without.
Pleasure is always derived from something outside you, whereas joy arises from within.
Anything that you resent and strongly react to in another is also in you.
Don’t seek happiness. If you seek it, you can’t find it because seeking is the antithesis of happiness.
To love is to recognize yourself in another.
What I know for sure is that I grow and thrive through relationships, and a love relationship, rooted in the spiritual, gives me the biggest possibility for becoming a better me and a happier me.
I know I would love Ernie in a better way now. We would each thrive.
Surely I will find another to love and to be loved by.
